Solb Steel, a leading manufacturer of reinforcing steel, sponsored the second Construction and Projects Forum, organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Ministry of Housing, at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.The forum’s second edition builds on the success of its inaugural session, at a time when the Kingdom is preparing to invest approximately $80 billion this year in new projects and the completion of existing ones across various sectors, particularly infrastructure.The forum addressed key topics related to identifying the main trends in the Kingdom’s contracting sector, discussing the opportunities and challenges facing the sector, its role in economic development, job creation, and increasing its contribution to the economy.It also highlighted the sector’s alignment with housing needs and plans, with a focus on its role in Saudization. International experiences and how to benefit from them were also reviewed.His Excellency the Minister of Housing, Dr. Shuwaish Al-Suwaihi, presented a commemorative shield to the Chairman of Solb Steel, Sheikh Sulaiman bin Salim Al-Harbi, in appreciation of his sponsorship of the forum.
