for eight residential projects as part of the first phase of the “Jeddah Waterfront” project, developed by Kaden Company. The projects comprise a total of 2,000 residential units, making them among the largest urban development initiatives in north Jeddah.
The event was attended by a number of government officials, executive leaders, and representatives of development sectors. During the visit, His Excellency reviewed the completion of the infrastructure works for the first phase, which included road networks, utility services, green spaces, pedestrian and cycling paths, and open sports facilities. This achievement reflects the level of progress made by Kaden and the project’s readiness to move into broader urban development phases in the coming period.
The Jeddah Waterfront project spans an area exceeding one million square meters, strategically located in North Obhur at the intersection of Madinah Road and Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz Road, providing direct access to Jeddah’s key landmarks and vital projects. The development embodies Kaden’s “city within a city” concept, offering an integrated urban environment that combines residential living, business, leisure, healthcare, education, and daily services within a unified and harmonious framework designed to enhance quality of life.
Upon completion, the project is expected to include more than 5,000 residential units accommodating over 23,000 residents, in addition to educational and healthcare facilities, 120,000 square meters of retail space, 140,000 square meters of office space, and approximately 600 hotel rooms, along with extensive green areas considered among the largest within Jeddah’s urban developments.
The project is distinguished by an urban design that enables safe and easy mobility for residents, allowing access to daily services on foot without the need to cross major roads. This design promotes a healthier lifestyle and reduces reliance on vehicles.
The launch of construction follows the successful sale of all plots allocated for residential projects in the first phase to several real estate developers, reflecting strong investor confidence in the project as a modern urban model based on sustainability standards and offering diverse, contemporary housing options.
The residential projects launched today include:
- Al-Ramz Company – 900 residential units
- Sharfa Company – 200 residential units
- Mashid Company – 200 residential units
- Tanami Al-Qimam Company – 180 residential units
- Shahla Company – 160 residential units
- Hasad Company – 134 residential units
- Burooj Al-Qimmah Company – 90 residential units
- Mahya Al-Diyabi Foundation – 90 residential units
