Musallam bin Saleem Al-Harbi, Chief Executive Officer of SAPAC Company , signed a contract with the Ministry of Water and Electricity for the construction of a sewage network serving the Al-Shawqiyah development, Prince Saad Al-Faisal development, and part of the Al-Mohammadiyah development in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
Al-Harbi explained that the contract, numbered 8 within the Makkah sewage network project, includes the construction of main pipelines using open-cut excavation and horizontal drilling, with a total length of approximately 13 kilometers, in addition to secondary lines extending about 90 kilometers, along with household connections. He noted that the total cost of executing the project is approximately SAR 170 million, and that the company will commence implementation immediately upon receiving the scope of work in the coming days.
Al-Harbi further revealed that SAPAC will announce several new projects in the coming days that it has signed with various government entities. He pointed out that the company aims to increase its market share this year in line with the significant urban development boom taking place across the Kingdom. The government has announced major projects approved in the state budget that require contracting companies capable of timely delivery and precision in execution—principles that define SAPAC’s corporate philosophy, as the company operates according to clear plans and strategies in project implementation.
